Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., model 22 chronometer watch with wind indicator, 35 size, 21 jewels, stem wind, pin set, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature, straight line damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement and micrometric regulator, Arabic numeral silvered metal dial, black steel spade and poker hands, the timepiece contained in a correct but associated gimbaled bowl, and mounted in a mahogany box, and with padded cherry outer box with leather strap, movement marked "U.S. Navy Bu. Ships- 1942", serial #2F4289
CONDITION:
running, click sometimes sticks, stem damaged, setting not functional, plates with scattered fine scratches and specks of dirt, bowl clean and with good lacquer, gimbals tarnished, inner box with dings, scrapes, and scratches, top with chip and tight split, hardware tarnished, outer box dirty and with minor scrapes and scratches, minor losses to finish, top with split, buckle with rust
